We drove back from San Diego on Easter Sunday - and on our way down we stopped at my Grandparents house to see them since we hadn't had a chance to see them since they had both gotten sick. My parents, and Matt & Shari and their kids all came over while we were there so we could all spend a little family time togther. The kids had fun playing on the lawn and getting out of the car for a little while and we got some cute pictures of all of them being crazy and loving on each other! After a couple of hours we headed back out so we could get home and do the Easter egg hunt, laundry and unpacking before school/work the next morning. The kids got baskets that had their favorite candies (Kit-Kat's for Addi & Suckers for Kam), a Zooble and some Color Wonder markers and paper! It's fun watching them find the eggs and get so excited about it,! After that Shari was super sweet and gave us some boiled eggs and a coloring kit so the kids could dye eggs, since we didn't do it before we left and I didn't want to leave eggs in the fridge the entire time we were gone. They had lots of fun painting the eggs... and themselves, we left them out to dry and headed off to bed for some much needed rest, it was definitely a fun vacation and a memorable one as well!
