28 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 28 Weeks

Maternity clothes? Yep

Sleep? Some thanks to the heartburn medication!

Best moment in the past 4 weeks? Getting Baby A's crib set, stroller & carseat - now just have to put everything together!

Movement? Lots of kicks especially in the morning when I first wake up & right before I go to bed.

Food cravings? Vanilla Pudding & Corn Nuts (no not together....)

Aversions? Anything super spicy that will have MAJOR consequences later.

Symptoms? Backaches, Headaches, Fatigue

Gender? Still a Girl as far as we know :) Baby A isn't 100% cooperative in this area... I have another ultrasound scheduled in 2 and 1/2 weeks and we will triple check then!

Labor signs? I have about 5-6 mild contractions everyday and a ton of Braxton Hicks all day long... hopefully this baby stays in there at least another 8 weeks or so. :)

Belly button in/out? In

What I miss: Pretty soon I will miss riding rides... between Lagoon in 2 weeks and Disneyland in 4 I am sad that I will have to take tons of pictures of the kids enjoying the rides and not go on a single one!
What I am looking forward to: Like I said above we are going to Lagoon for Nationals - Dr Appt/Ultrasound - Addi's 7th Birthday and Disneyland!

Milestones: No major milestones since I last posted - got my 30 week ultrasound set up to make sure the baby is doing good. She kicks alot more now and I am 100% positive she is still head down. I don't think she'll ever be anything but ready to come out, silly girl! We have about 11 weeks left and we'll be holding this sweet baby in our arms!

Competition/Recital Season

We're back to the annual competition season post - Addi has been performing her little heart out lately! Over the last couple of weeks she has danced & clogged in the PHS Cheer Review, she has competed in the Rammette Review competition and performed at her Ballet recital. She loves every minute of being on stage so this is not a terrible thing for her! They won Superior for both of their dances at the Rammette Review (bascially 2nd place) Superior Plus is perfect scores from all judges. They competed well and were all really pleased with themselves! Thanks to everyone who helped me with Kam & costume changes and of course everyone who made it to watch her perform! She loves having people there to cheer her on and it makes my life easier as well. :)

Kam's 1st Soccer Season

Well Kam's first soccer season is well underway - but being the coach I can't exactly run around the field with my camera... so I had to wait until someone came to a game with me to take pictures! Kam has an absolute blast playing for about the first 2 quarters... after that her interest takes a major decline and she basically prances around the field, picks flowers and practices her beauty queen wave. :) I'm not sure we'll play spring soccer again because it has been FAR TOO COLD. We've had at least 1 game cancelled on account of the snow - so I think we may just stick to fall soccer where it usually only snows the last game.

24 Week Bumpdate

How far along? 24 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Yep

Sleep? Non-Existent

Best moment in the past 4 weeks? Getting an ultrasound with better pictures of baby A :)

Movement? Lots of kicks - the whole family has felt them now :)

Food cravings? Costa Vida :)

Aversions? BBQ Sauce... it makes me think my stomach is going to eat right through my body! I am so over the heartburn!

Symptoms? Backaches, Headaches, Fatigue and did I mention Heartburn!??!?!

Gender? Our baby T went from a boy to a GIRL!! :) We are so excited for baby A to come! No one was really surprised when they told us it was a girl we all thought that from the beginning. Addi was sad at first but now I think she's pretty excited about having another sister.
Labor signs? Nope Braxton Hicks have started but no labor signs yet.

Belly button in/out? In

What I miss: Energy... eating the things I love and not having heartburn!
What I am looking forward to: Kam's 1st soccer game, competition season, Nationals, summer, Disneyland :) lots of things!

Milestones: Seeing baby A on the ultrasound twice, feeling her kick all the time now, Jake feeling her kick for the first time as well as Kam. She's measuring ahead which is nice :) and we only have 15 weeks or less left!

Easter - Day 4

After a long weekend of off-roading we were excited to get home and spend some much needed time with the kiddos. They were so excited when they got home and the Easter Bunny had visited them - Addi was really worried he had forgotten about her until she went downstairs. Kam just wanted to pack all the eggs around and Addi wasn't so willing to leave alot behind for Kam to find. :) The kids both got lots of candy and new t-shirts from Jeep Safari - which Kam insisted on wearing right away. We were all very happy to be home and all in all this Easter was definitely a success!

Easter - Day 3

This trail was called "Kane Creek" and it was one I had actually never been on before - so it was a new experience for all of us. We went with the actual Jeep Safari instead of just on our own like we usually do so we had a lot of rigs with us. This trail was pretty scenic for the most part but wasn't nearly as fun as some of the other trails. We stopped for lunch at the bottom of the creek bed and the kids had a blast making a dam across the water and of course splashing each other.

After we finished Kane Creek trail we ate dinner and hurried over to Hell's Revenge before it got dark. Hell's Revenge is one of my most favorite trails just because of how scenic it is. It was an absolutely beautiful night and we got some really cool pictures. I was glad we had time to do it because it honestly is something everyone should experience in a lifetime. I mean you just can't get views like that from any road - anywhere!

Easter - Day 2

We drove to Moab Thursday and didn't waste much time once we got there. We set the trailer up called my cousins Trent and Ray and took Jake on his very first Jeep Safari trail. We went on a trail called "Behind the Rocks" and Jake had an absolute blast! I don't think he was 100% sure what he was getting himself into but he had a ton of fun once we started going. I have missed Jeeping so much and it was so nice to get out and have some fun. The weather was beautiful as well as the scenery and of course the company is always great fun! I think Jake is hooked now and we will definitely be going back. :)
