Soccer Season

Soccer season is here again - Addi is in U10 this year, which means they have Referee's and Goalies!  She has an amazing coach and has been practicing ridiculously hard - their team is awesome and they all play so well together.
Kam is also playing soccer this year she is in the U6 division - I am her coach so I don't have any pictures of her yet but I will get some up as soon as I do!

Labor Day

We had a lot of fun over the Labor Day weekend! We started off the weekend like we do every year at the Iron County Fair - where both of the girls clogged in the entertainment tent. Then we spent a couple of hours at the carnival. Both of the girls got to have a sleep over at Grandma's house Friday night and hung out with Grandma & Grandpa on Saturday. Monday we got up early and went to the parade where Kam rode on the Color Country Cloggers float - she was very enthusiastic waving her flag and loved all the people waving at her! After the parade we went back to the fair had some amazing Twister Lemonades, Jake had a custom hat made and the girls had a pink bubblegum snow cone. Jake took both the girls on the Merry-Go-Round and then Kam rode a couple of the kiddie rides by herself. We finished off the night by going to the Bull Riding and watching the Bull Riders, the Barrel Racers & the super funny clowns.

1st Day of School

Well my sweet girls have started school - I just can't believe it!

Miss Addi is in 3rd grade this year and her teacher is Mrs. Skougaard. She has already passed off her level reading & her 2's times tables just in the first week! They have already had 2 field trips to the swimming pool and are having the annual 3rd grade water Olympics on Thursday (I get to be a judge). She is having a blast & was lucky that a few of her very best friends are in her class - while I was sad to send her off to school I am loving her class this year!

Kambri started her 1st day of her 2nd year of Preschool. She is going to Mother Goose preschool this year and her teacher's name is Mrs. Vest. She only has 1 day down so far - but she had a lot of fun! She gets to do sharing every week and is looking forward to being the star of the week. I can't believe next year this girl will be in Kindergarten!
