2 Months

This little beauty is already 2 months old.. I swear it seems like yesterday we were just finding out that I was pregnant and we were over the moon. Now she's here and I don't honestly remember what life was like before her, it just seems like she has been a part of the family forever! Poor girl had to get her 2 month immunizations yesterday and while we had a little bit of a rough night she handled it like a champ! Here are her stats for the 2 month mark:
9 Pounds 6 Ounces
21.25 Inches
She has found her smile and loves to smile at everything and everybody - and her sweet smile literally takes up her whole face I love it!
She has started to coo and is finding her voice so she can talk to us.
She grunts while she eats.. bascially she acts like she's starving to death and you would think she is wolfing it down when in reality she only eats 2 ounces at a time still.
This little girl LOVES her sisters - they both are so cute with her and she has special smiles just for them. I am so grateful they have each other - instant best friends!

She is going to be a small little thing for sure! Dr says she is on "her own growth curve" but since she's growing he's not too concerned. As he put it.... "Someone has to be at the bottom, in order to have a curve right?!" Well she just happens to be at the bottom! She is in the 10th percentile for weight and the 13th percetile for height. Both of the other girls have always been in the 90+ for everything so it's kind of fun to have a baby at the other end of the spectrum!

Kam's 1st Day of Preschool

The day has finally come... Kam is in Preschool! Kam is such a smart girl I honestly could've put her in preschool last year if I could've found somebody that took 2 year olds! But we are really excited about her school and her teacher. She is going to On My Way.... To A Better Preschool and her teacher is Mrs. Orton. Mrs. Orton's husband is a police officer in Cedar and is good friends with Jake so it's kind of fun to know the teacher & her family in and outside of school! She was so excited to pick out her outfit for the first day, pick out a treat for her school friends and pick a picture of herself to hang on the wall. (That is what she is holding in her hands) Although, she ruined the picture of herself on the way to school so we couldn't use it.... :) typical Kam! She has learned a lot so far in just the first week - she knows the letter A and the sound it makes. She also has learned the first 3 months of the year - she can also name at least 6 of her class members and that is pretty impressive for a 3 year old! She goes twice a week every Tuesday & Thursday from 10 AM until noon and most days she wishes she could go every day of the week. She will definitely be ready to go to Kindergarten before her time just like Addi. I'm excited for the fun things she'll get to do in school this year and the field trips she will get to take :) and hopefully she will decide that since everyone else in school is going potty.... she can too!

Labor Day - Iron County Fair

Well we had our annual Iron County Fair performance. This is the first clogging performance of the year and is a great review from last year. The kids always have so much fun and it's good to watch them clog after a 3 month break! Addi did very well and is super excited about her dances this year she has come such a long ways in clogging and it's been so fun to watch her develop. She went from not even knowing how to skip when she was 4 in her very first class to memorizing 3-4 dances and placing first in every competition. :)

1st Day of 2nd Grade

How on earth did this happen?! It seems like just yesterday I was taking her to her first day of preschool and she was telling me she couldn't wait to turn 5 so she could ride the big yellow bus. Now here she is reading on her own, writing very well, doing science experiments & is a whiz at math! Her teachers name this year is Mrs. Robinson and she is such a great teacher! None of Addi's best friends except Lainey are in her class this year so she has had to make a lot of new friends. :) She is definitely enjoying school, she gets to ride the bus every morning and night this year because it is too hard for me to wake all of the kids up to drive her to school. So she has to get up at 6 AM to be on the bus by 7 - she is also excited about eating school lunch more often especially Pizza Friday's! The thing she was most excited for this year though was having an actual desk at school instead of a table. (It's the small things in life that please us right?!) She also is starting to get letter grades this year so she is very excited to get her first report card! Good luck in school this year Addi I know you'll do great!
