After we explored the Planetarium and were waiting for the movie to start we walked down to the Children's Discovery Museum and let the kids play for a couple of hours. They had SO MUCH FUN! They have different sections set up inside the building for kids creative play. The first one was a little air tube that you could put a ball into and it would go up and down. The second one we came to was a construction site with cranes, building blocks, loaders & other construction equipment. (This is where Justin stayed the ENTIRE time... shocking huh?) Then came a big play house with a full sized kitchen and living room where the girls played house. There was an area for cars, fire trucks, cop cars etc. with dress up clothes so they could match accordingly - there was even a gas pump for them to fill up the cars. Then there was a big water station with lots of water toys, pans and ping pong balls - this is where Kam spent the majority of her time. They had a "Small Children" area for kids 2 and under to be able to play without being trampled on by the older kids. Inside this area they had a "Bird House" that Kaylee, Kam & Kimber absolutely LOVED playing in. They had a grocery store where kids could fill shopping carts, check out and put food on conveyor belts. Addi climbed the rock wall that was right next to the barn. They all had fun riding the horse putting the chickens in the coop and picking vegetables. Needless to say they all had a blast and there was SO much for them to do - this was another fun idea and we'll definitely go back!
