On Sunday we left right around 8:30 to head to California, we stopped in New Harmony and Addi jumped in the car with my parents and Kaylee rode with us & Kam. We made a pit stop at Bass Pro Shops in Las Vegas - let the kids play for a little bit and had lunch at Johnny Rockets :) love that place! After that we got back on the road where we got stuck in traffic (of course) right around Baker. It was 117 degrees in stop and go traffic all I can say is Thank Heavens for DVD players & A/C because it would've been a VERY long trip without them! The girls were so good on the trip down and played together the majority of the time (while Kaylee wasn't sleeping) as soon as we got to the Motel and unloaded the luggage everyone's first thought was LET'S GO SWIMMING!!! We let the kids swim for a couple of hours in between Addi's clogging practices, before we headed to bed and even though the water was definitely NOT warm they had so much fun.

Trenton's Graduation
A couple of weeks ago my cousin Trenton graduated from High School.... I still cannot believe he is old enough to graduate - makes me feel OLD!!! :) It was a really fun trip and I'm glad I got to be there for him - luckily it was outside so the kids were well entertained playing on the grass and it was very short & sweet (as far as graduations go!) Trenton was super happy to be finished and is excited to start the next chapter of his life by working all summer & joining the Marine's. It was a lot of fun to be able to see my Aunt Katy & Layla it has been a few years since we've been able to see them and I'm glad it was a happy occasion that brought them here! :) Even though their trip seemed short and sweet it was great spending time with them and letting the kids get to know them better.
We're proud of you Trenton - Congrats again on the graudation!
Addi's 7th Birthday
We had Addi's Birthday Party on her actual birthday - and the day before we left for California. Call me crazy because honestly it was a little insane that I did that but it was a lot of fun and she loved every minute of it! She invited a few of her best friends from school (Iris, Mylee & Aspyn) and the girls from the neighborhood. We set up a Slip N' Slide, Sprinkler & Pool in the front yard and the kids played outside for hours they had so much fun. Addi picked a horse theme this year (of course) and her cake turned out so cute! We BBQ'd Hamburgers and Hot Dogs had tons of fruit and of course my famous punch. Addi was spoiled she got a Google Nexus tablet from us a long with a Stuffie (Dash the Horse) & Mickey Epic 2 for the Wii. She got a Butterfly Net, Bug Catcher, Bubble Blower, a cute Bag, T-Shirt, a Jewelry & Purse kit, Barbie's, a Barbie Carrier, Barbie Clothes, My Little Pony, Pajamas & a whole bunch of other things I can't remember right this second.
I'm glad she had a fun time & we had such a good turn out for the party!

32 Week Bumpdate
How far along? 32 Weeks
Maternity clothes? Yep
Sleep? Pretty much non-existent at this point! Can't get comfortable and I'm starting to get nervous about this babies sleep habits....she's up at 3:30 every morning!
Best moment in the past 4 weeks? Just got back from California - and am now in the home stretch getting everything ready for Baby A's arrival!
Movement? Lots of Rolls, Jabs & Hiccups
Food cravings? Fruit.... lots of it!
Aversions? Basically avoid all food after 6 PM
Symptoms? Backaches, Fatigue, Swelling
Gender? 100% a Girl! :) hahaha the ultrasound technician told us within 15 seconds of pulling her up on the ultrasound machine.
Labor signs? Well a couple of weeks ago I was probably the most lucky person ever and I got the stomach flu!! Oh wait... I was being sarcastic. It was a Thursday night I had just put the kids to bed and all of the sudden I felt very, very sick - I thought I had just ate too much too late. But then about ever 45 minutes to an hour I would have these bouts of nausea and would have to run to the bathroom. After I had puked so much I swore I didn't have anything left I thought ok it's out of my system I'm good.... nope I was wrong it went from 9 PM on Thursday night until 9 PM Friday night. I was having consistent contractions... and I was in a ton of pain. Finally about 3 on Friday afternoon (Addi's last day of school) I called Jake (at work) and said you need to come home and take me to the hospital I can't take this anymore. So my mom came and got the girls and we headed to the hospital. I was severely dehydrated at this point and my contractions were a little too consistent for anyone's liking. I also had a fever and they were moving me back and forth between the ER and Labor & Deliver because they thought I could have a possible appendicitis. It was a long 5 hours in the hospital let me tell you! After they got me hydrated - and gave me a lot of different medicine to stop the contractions, make me stop puking and go to sleep we headed home. I slept good that night and woke up the next day feeling 1,000 times better and I got a text from my dad... my poor mom had caught it at that point we knew it wasn't appendicitis but definitely the stomach flu! It was definitely an interesting couple of days - so I'm no longer in labor just back to my Braxton Hicks & infrequent contractions!
Belly button in/out? In
What I miss: Sleep... Eating without being sick..... Balance!
What I am looking forward to: 6 More weeks and this beautiful baby will be here!
Milestones: Got the 30 week ultrasound baby looks really good she weighed 3 pounds already and has at least gained 2 more since then :) It's definitely getting close and I need to start preparing for her arrival because who knows when she'll actually come with my history!

Addi Turns 7
Summer is here and Addi has done it again... she's turned another year older! My sweet little girl that made me a mommy is turning into the most spectacular, talented individual. She has accomplished so many things this year and we are so excited about all the things she has learned and how much she's grown. She has excelled in reading this year and has come further than anyone thought possible. She went from a level B to a level J which is a reading level above where she needed to be to pass 1st grade. Her math skills are phenomenal and she loves learning new things. She is still clogging her little heart out and has mastered some new steps this year as well as her backbends & back walk-overs. She is becoming very flexible and is enjoying dance/tumbling so much more. She is so thoughtful and caring and makes everyone around her just as happy as she is! She is the best big sister anyone could ever ask for and has really matured and stepped up in anticipation of the arrival of her new sister. We are so excited for you and your future Addi we know you will go so far in life and you make the world a better place. We love you so much and hope that your birthday is just as amazing as you are - you deserve it!
