For the 4th this year we took all of the kids to the parade, went to the park for a few minutes and then had a BBQ at my parents house. Jake had to work graves that night but was able to stop by for a couple of minutes and eat dinner with us - after dinner we played cards and then everyone headed home and mom & I loaded up the girls to go watch fireworks at the airport. While we were waiting for them to start there was a big explosion where the fireworks were supposed to be so we left to watch the fireworks in town. We went to the church on top of the hill and watched fireworks from every direction imaginable! Addi loved every second of it and Aria & Kam... well they just wanted to go to bed. :)
